  • The Garden District Band (Trio) performs selections from the Great American songbook, original compositions, classic standards, New Orleans traditional jazz, big band hits, bebop, Latin/Jazz to funky New Orleans street beat or second line songs in a very creative and highly improvised setting.
  • Hansen’s Garden District Band (Trio) has performed seven nights a week since 2006 at Houston’s Restaurant in New Orleans. Hansen, on drum-set, features an amazing selection of highly skilled artists performing on piano and bass.

  • The band has performed worldwide in such places as British Columbia, Canada, Buenos Aires, Argentina; Istanbul, Turkey; Japan, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and San Paulo, Brazil.
  • David W. Hansen began the group in 1994 and has had the honor to continuously feature many of the most elite jazz musicians in New Orleans. The band enjoys a steady stream of public, private, corporate and wedding events.
